You're required to present ID in order to vote this year

In order to make your vote count, you will need to furnish a photo ID when you vote. These photo IDs are acceptable (voter needs only one of these):
*Driver's license issued by Kansas or by another state or district of the USA
*State ID card issued by Kansas or by another state or district of the USA
*Concealed carry of handgun license issued by Kansas or by another state or district of the USA
*US passport
*Employee badge or ID document issued by a municipal, county, state or federal government office
*Military ID document issued by the United States
*Current student ID card issued by an accredited post-secondary institution of education in the state of Kansas
*Public assistance ID card issued by a municipal, county, state or federal government office
*Local public school district ID card issued to students and employees of the district
*ID card issued by an Indian tribe

If you do not have one of the above photo IDs with you when you vote, you may vote a provisional ballot, even if you are advance voting. You are required to furnish one of the above IDs at the Election Commissioner's office by 5 pm, Wednesday, November 14th, in order for your ballot to be counted.

Advance voting by mail is also available. You may request a ballot by calling 913-573-8500. The deadline for requesting a mail ballot is 5 pm, Friday, November 2. The deadline for returning the mail ballot is 7 pm, Election Day, Tuesday, November 6th.
